810 = 160 (1 + 0.5)n
810/160 = 1.5n
(3/2)4 = (3/2)n
So, n = 4.
Therefore, the population of the city was 160 at the year which was 4 cycles of 50 years before 1959.
So, the year is 1959 - (4 x 50) = 1759 which brings us to the nearest optipn 1750.
